Welcome to this newsletter edition of Roaring Runways with the goings-on of our Model Aviation Northland members' articles and other club correspondence. 

It is great to see our members out at the field flying, there have been some great laughs.

As we have had unwanted visitors to our field the gate padlock has been reinstated, this will be on the inner gate.
We will be moving the lockbox to a discrete strainer post.

Willie the robot mower has been re-activated and is now happily mowing the airfield.
Good news for the mowing roster with the pit area and up by the roller car to mow.

Willie's home base is located by the second container

Willie and Grant Plaisted in a mow-off contest.

The lock box with the key for the mower container is now on the back of the post located at the far top side of the field.
This is at the right-hand end of the electric fence that we look at when standing in the pilot box.
Also, we have removed the battery from the roller car and it is inside the mower container.
