Grant Plaisted put forward a nomination for life membership for Don Barker, with his dedication to Aero Modeling and our club, the committee showed no hesitation in passing a unanimous vote to accept this nomination.
Following this vote, Carl Hansen and I visited Don and presented him with the news.
Don was very grateful for receiving this award, Carl and I were very humbled and honoured to present this to Don.
Don mention Rod and himself are now in that exclusive standing.
