We had a great day on Saturday together with a group from the Northern Heli Model Club from Kumeu. Scott and Mikey had an early start and set up everything and the guests arrived at around 10. After a welcome from Grant to our guests we directly started flying, everything from the Big turbines (Scotty braved the storm with his Jetranger) to Mikey’s 3d flying which created a new circular patch curtesy to his rotor blades, and some drone racers. Even some foamy planes braved the wind, albeit only for short exciting period. The weather goods tried to blow our fun away, but with some good norther hospitality with chocolate and carrot cake and sizzlers the spirits were very high and we braved the wind until it started raining at 4.30pm. Thank you to all the helpers and everyone who turned up to make it a day to remember.
